About Me

I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, attended college at Loyola University Chicago and went to graduate school in Berkeley, CA. After graduate school, my husband and I lived in California for a few years before deciding to relocate to the Midwest. We moved to Olivette in 2014 because we appreciated the smaller community feel, diverse population, access to local parks, and excellent public schools. We are proud to call Olivette home for over 11 years!

My husband, Tim, and I have two kids who are both students at Ladue Horton Watkins High School. We also have a scruffy dog named Lexie and a small flock of backyard chickens. I am a former high school teacher and science educator, and an active volunteer and community advocate in Olivette and the Ladue School District. I recently completed a Masters of Science in Urban Ecology and Sustainable Planning. My professional interests include sustainable urban planning and environmental education. In my spare time, I love to travel with my family, work in my garden, hike, and practice yoga.
